About John Schettino
Candidate for Islip Town Council
John Schettino is currently a member of the Islip Town Planning Board and has run his own law firm since 2002.
He has served as an advisor to former Congressman Rick Lazio, and remains involved in civic associations, West Islip P.A.W.S., and the West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition.
Remaining active in youth athletics, John served as a volunteer coach of the Babylon Village P.A.L. Girls Lacrosse Team in 2001 and 2002. He also served as a volunteer coach of the West Islip P.A.L. Boys Lacrosse Team in 1999.
John graduated Brooklyn Law School in 1986 and has been practicing law for over 20 years. He earned his A.A. from Suffolk Community College and achieved his B.A. from Cortland State, where he played lacrosse. A life long resident of Long Island, he grew up in Setauket and graduated Ward Melville High School in 1974.
